I have had the same concern for about the past week. I have been using WLM about 3 years with only the one email address when last week I suddenly had in beside my sign in email address the message "E-mail address not verified". It has not affected the receipt of any emails so I am unaware why it it has appeared.

I went through the steps of verifying the address with microsoft account team and received a security code which I entered but the message still exists.
