If you have studied at a recognized university or college, you must disclose any postsecondary studies to the Office of Admissions. If you are still currently studying at a college or university, you should upload your transcripts and any other required documents through the MyFile admission portal. We require an official final transcript to be mailed directly or sent electronically from the granting institution to the Office of Admissions at York as soon as it is available, once your study period is complete.

Official transcripts must come to the Office of Admissions directly from the educational institution in an institutionally sealed envelope. We require English translations by an official translator of transcripts and certificates if the transcripts are not in English or French. Institutions can email official electronic transcripts to York. After you complete your application, you have the option to complete an Additional Information Form for Indigenous Applicants to share more information about yourself, including your interests, goals and experiences. This will provide us with a more holistic view of you as an applicant. While co-registered in the two Faculties , students' combined degree program is subject to the approval of the two Faculties.
