I am proud to represent this determined young woman in the First Assembly District and wish Alexandra luck as she moves to the next level of this notable competition. Assemblymember Monica P. Her mentorship of freshman students and participation in the Animal Science Program at BOCES show her compassion and her devotion to helping others in her community.
Meanwhile, her strong academic standing and participation in extracurricular activities reveal her commitment to excel in everything she does. Lindsey exemplifies what the Presidential Scholars Program stands for and has earned this great honor.
I am proud to have nominated her for the U. Presidential Scholars Excellence in Career and Technical Education Program and her selection as one of only five students in the State nominated by Commissioner Rosa is a testament to her dedication and work in the CTE field.

Experience isn't the only important aspect of measuring the ability to teach. Fiscal transparency reports will outline how much each school is spending per student and the source of the funds. These fiscal transparency reports will be issued for the first time in early for the school year. At the district level, they will inform conversations with districts about whether equitable resources are being provided to identified schools.
At the state level, these reports can help inform future Board of Regents State Aid requests. A positive school climate promotes school safety, student self-esteem, emotional well-being, mental health, and lower incidences of substance abuse, student absenteeism, and suspensions. Efforts will be expanded to provide capacity-building guidance; strategies; best-practice resources; and professional development for school administrators, instructional staff, and non-instructional staff in the following areas to advance these initiatives.
